John Fineran, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Mr. Fineran started his technology industry career in 1998 with a business to business Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Silver Spring, Maryland. He lead the sales team during his ten years with the company reaching revenues of over $25 million annually.  He was promoted to Executive Vice President during his tenure.

Mr. Fineran is currently building his own technology firm – FinTel Communications – which opened in October 2008.  FinTel Communications helps companies find the “best” and “right” sources to contract for technology services.  FinTel Communications continues to have a steady growth with its business clients.

In addition to the corporate life of Mr. Fineran, he is active in the local community.  Mr. Fineran believes that volunteer work is an important piece of one’s personal and corporate life. Mr. Fineran is a Board member for The First Tee Montgomery County which provides life lessons for children through the game of golf.  As Co-Chair of Come Back to Bethesda, a car, motorcycle and truck show / fundraiser for the Children’s Inn at NIH, he chairs a committee of 20 plus business associates to put on the annual event.  Finally, Mr. Fineran is the President of both the University of Maryland Alumni Associations’ Montgomery County Club and the Terrapin Club chapter for Montgomery County.

Mr. Fineran holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business from the University of Maryland.  When he has time, Mr. Fineran enjoys golf and traveling.

Gail Sherman, Sr Vice President Strategic Development  and Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Prior to this position, Ms. Sherman was Vice President, Education for the Parenteral Drug Association, a non-profit, member based organization. In this role, Ms. Sherman managed a scientific and regulatory education program with an annual revenue of $3M, including training programs in the PDA Training and Research Institute facility in Baltimore and later Bethesda, MD, programs at locations globally including Europe and Asia, and in-company for pharmaceutical companies in the US and Europe.  This required selling the PDA TRI product through development of marketing pieces and web site advertising, as well as negotiating fees and content for in company training.  Additionally, she managed the construction build out of a $1M laboratory training facility in Bethesda.

Ms. Sherman joined the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research in 1991 and retired from the Center in 2004 as the Director, Division of Manufacturing Assistance and Training in OCTMA.  She had 33 years of government service in the Denver Regional Office, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health and the National Center for Health Statistics in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Ms. Sherman is a member of the Drug Information Association, VP of the University of Maryland Alumni Association Montgomery County Club and a member of the FDA Alumni Association Board of Directors.  Ms. Sherman is a guest lecturer at the University of Tennessee Aseptic Processing Training Program and often an invited speaker at industry conferences.

Angela Markelonis, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Ms. Markelonis received her Bachelors Degree of Science from the R.H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland in 2000.

Jonathan Broskey – Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

Mr. Broskey resides in Rockville, MD as a Macintosh Technician for EMC, Corp who contracts him out as the Apple Program Lead for his current client.

While Jonathan jokingly claims to be a Apple Mac Genius, he hasn’t worked for Apple since 2003, when he took the roll of Vice President and Lead Consultant for Mid Atlantic Consulting.  But, since he worked for the Apple Stores when they first started back in 2001, he goes by the statement, “Once a Apple Genius, Always a Apple Genius!”.  There aren’t many places online you won’t find him.  The social networking sites he typically resides on is Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.  He has also been a featured guest on the Kojo Nnamdi show on WAMU in Washington, DC.

When he is not out saving little Apple computers, he’s spending time with family, friends and experiencing life.
