  John Fineran, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

John Fineran is a Marylander through and through. A graduate of the University of Maryland and entrepreneur, John has been steeped in the regional technology industry for more than a dozen years. Mr. Fineran knows the technology, the terrain and many of the players. After two decades of handshake deals, roll-up-your-sleeve problem solving and slack-tied networking, John recently came to the conclusion that his true calling is as a matchmaker. His list of clients and contacts is as long and as broad as his experience.

John Fineran is a good guy to know because he cares about technology, entrepreneurship and solving problems.

Mr. Fineran began his technology industry career in 1998 with a business-to-business Internet Service Provider in Silver Spring, Maryland. He quickly emerged as the leading salesperson helping the company reach $25 million in annual revenues, and was promoted to executive vice president.

John Fineran has always believed that community engagement was just as important and personally rewarding as business success. Mr. Fineran is a Board Member for The First Tee Montgomery County, which provides life lessons for children through learning the game of golf. Additionally, Mr. Fineran is the Co-Chair of Come Back to Bethesda, a car, motorcycle and truck show fundraiser for the Children’s Inn at the National Institutes for Health. John also is the President of both the University of Maryland Alumni Association Montgomery County Club and the Terrapin Club Chapter for Montgomery County.

John holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business from the University of Maryland. When he has time he enjoys a good game of golf and traveling.

Gail Sherman, Sr Vice President Strategic Development  and Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Prior to this position, Ms. Sherman was Vice President, Education for the Parenteral Drug Association, a non-profit, member based organization. In this role, Ms. Sherman managed a scientific and regulatory education program with an annual revenue of $3M, including training programs in the PDA Training and Research Institute facility in Baltimore and later Bethesda, MD, programs at locations globally including Europe and Asia, and in-company for pharmaceutical companies in the US and Europe.  This required selling the PDA TRI product through development of marketing pieces and web site advertising, as well as negotiating fees and content for in company training.  Additionally, she managed the construction build out of a $1M laboratory training facility in Bethesda.

Ms. Sherman joined the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research in 1991 and retired from the Center in 2004 as the Director, Division of Manufacturing Assistance and Training in OCTMA.  She had 33 years of government service in the Denver Regional Office, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health and the National Center for Health Statistics in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Ms. Sherman is a member of the Drug Information Association, VP of the University of Maryland Alumni Association Montgomery County Club and a member of the FDA Alumni Association Board of Directors.  Ms. Sherman is a guest lecturer at the University of Tennessee Aseptic Processing Training Program and often an invited speaker at industry conferences.

  Shawn Vernon, Internet Marketing

Taylor Perry, Web Designer

Taylor Perry is a graphic and web designer with over 5 years of experience creating  everything from small business websites to cd cover art and package design. Some of her poster and flyer designs have been used in rock clubs across the US and New Zealand. She is a National Scholastic Art Award Gold Key winner and a contributing graphic designer for a 2009 Gold ADDY Award winning website.  Her websites are meticulously crafted with emphasis on layout and navigation design,  content organization and editing,  SEO and W3C validation.

Taylor has a BA in visual art from Winthrop University and a Web Design Certificate from Greenville Technical College, and is currently persuing a Web Programming Certificate from Montgomery College in Rockville.

Originally from Greenville,  South Carolina, Taylor now lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with her husband Scott and two spoiled cats, Sushi and Wilco. In her free time she loves to do craft projects, listen to records, and go to concerts with her husband.

  Wayne Sheh, Chief Systems Architect

Mr. Sheh has over ten (10) years’ experience in the technology industry.  Most recently working for Balducci’s as an IS Operations manager and systems engineer.  While directly supporting the Vice President of IT, Mr. Sheh has managed the Cisco firewall and switch network for the wide area network built to support locations all over the Northeast section of the United States.  Additionally, Mr. Sheh has managed over 40 servers, which are the backbone of the operations of the grocery store.

Previously, Mr. Sheh was employed by RedZone Technologies where he was a full time support engineer managing onsite and remotely, customer networks and servers.  These customers included banks, associations and corporate entities in the DC Metro region.

Certifications include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator & Messaging, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Network Professional (Switching) and CheckPoint Certified Security Expert.

Mr. Sheh enjoys spending time with his wife, riding motorcycles and is an avid shooting enthusiast.

  Angela Markelonis, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Ms. Markelonis received her Bachelors Degree of Science from the R.H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland in 2000.

  Jonathan Broskey – Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

Mr. Broskey worked for the Apple Stores when they first started back in 2001, he goes by the statement, “Once a Apple Genius, Always a Apple Genius!”.  There aren’t many places online you won’t find him.  The social networking sites he typically resides on is Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.  He has also been a featured guest on the Kojo Nnamdi show on WAMU in Washington, DC.

When he is not out saving little Apple computers, he’s spending time with family, friends and experiencing life.

Mr. Broskey resides in California.
